I've tried these guys twice now, and both times been blown away by the quality of the food. And the prices; sometimes I feel like Fawkner is stuck on 1984 prices, and this is no exception. Huge piece of flake, perfectly crunchy. Both times they've chucked in an extra dimmy or potato cake. Legends.

Based on the food, I'll give it a 5 Star. Of course no restaurant is five out of five but highest rating for a wife/husband team. The place itself needs a bit of a facelift to make it more welcoming. I had flake, chips, calamari, potato cakes, dim sim, prawns, and scallops. I was a bit weirded out by the size of the scallops as they were extremely massive. At first I thought they were something else. All the scallops I've had have been rhe size of a 50 cent coin🤏🏾... 🤷🏾‍♂️. I'd come back and just narrow down my list to flake, prawns, chips, and potato cakes.

Really old school style fish and chips. Chips are awesome. Haven’t tried much on the menu besides chips, potato cake, flake and dimmies but all of those are on point. And super cheap. Like, this can’t be legit cheap. Owners seem lovely also, always pleasant to deal with.
